Wednesday, April 29th @ 1 pm - Salad or Single Serving - The theory goes that everything is either a salad or a single serving... join us for lunch and feel free to argue for or against this theory. If you are for it, explain why what you are making is either a salad or a single serving. Let's make food together with what we've got in our own homes!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR COOKING AT HOME

  1. Chickpeas are magical! A can of chickpeas can be turned into cookie dough or hummus or be the main ingredient in your curry.

  2. If you are in need of buttermilk, you can make your own! Just take a cup of milk and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix the two together and let it sit for 10 minutes!

  3. Even dry spices have a shelf life! Check out how old your pepper at home is, it might be out of date.

  4. Homemade buffalo sauce = 3 simple things; hot sauce, butter, garlic powder. The more butter, the more mild the sauce!

Monday, April 20th - Pre-Recorded Mindful Minutes: Focus your attention on the present. Reflect on the here and now. Take a break in your day and view the recording.

Wednesday, April 22nd @ 3 pm - Crazy Crafts: Collages: Express your artistic side. Use items you can find at home. Make an awesome collage. Gather any materials that you would like to help make one (old magazines/ newspapers, photos, string, paper, scissors, glue, tape, etc)! Collages are epic because you can make them anyway you want! With that in mind we wanted to give you tips for creating your collage at home.

TO SPICE UP YOUR COLLAGE

  • You can use different textures! Paints and markers, color pencils and crayons!

  • If you don’t have glue or tape, you can use nail polish, stickers and  ribbon to hold things together.

  • You can use magazines, old school work, junk mail,  and photos from around the house!

COLLAGE TYPES:

  • They can be a vision board for your hopes!

  • Color themed Collages… Green is a pretty cool color!

  • Collages of words or drawing styles.

If you have made a collage during this time at home, share it with the MA Family! We would love to see it!
